Job Description

We currently have openings for Online Public Relations positions for part-time and/or internship opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a college student or recent college graduate with knowledge of PR strategy creation and implementation. The candidate should also be articulate and have a talent for writing articles, press releases, whitepapers and more. Focus is on Online PR (optimized online press releases, online press kits, etc. for SEO purposes/online marketing), rather than traditional PR; however, traditional PR knowledge a plus.

Online PR Specialist Duties

• Work with Online PR and SEO teams to develop and execute Online PR strategies.
• Work with Online PR team to create online press/media kits.
• Work with SEO Department on writing/editing articles, press releases and white papers.
• Be involved in the selection of tools, techniques, and media best suited to produce, in a high quality, cost effective manner, the desired effects in conformance with internally defined requirements and client expectations.
• Assist in special projects as needed.
• Assist Online PR Manager with customer management and communication regarding customer projects.  

Online PR Specialist Skills Required

• PR background in college and/or real world experience
• MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and FrontPage
• Good copywriting and grammar skills
• Knowledge of AP Style
