Job Description

We are looking for intelligent, motivated Search Marketing professionals for full-time and/or contract opportunities to assist our customer’s in meeting their Web presence objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in search engine optimization (SEO), strong knowledge of HTML, and familiarity with various optimization, and keyword research tools and techniques. The candidate should also be result driven, ambitious, organized and articulate. The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing websites for various clients in an array of industries. The candidate must have a strong understanding of search optimization in Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and more. Experience in website development is a plus.

Search Engine Optimization Specialist Duties

• Create search engine optimization strategy for websites
• Implement SEO strategies for customer websites
• Perform detailed site analysis and document tactics to be implemented in order for our customer’s website to be likely to be found in natural search results
• Optimize the various site components including copy, page title/descriptions, site architecture, filenames, etc.
• Ensure that new site pages follow proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword best practices
• Assist in reviewing Search Engine Ranking Reports and optimizing under-performing listings
• Analyze latest algorithm changes and modify content, links etc accordingly
• Conduct keyword analysis/research and develop quality keyword portfolio
• Develop new content for website, as needed
• Create and manage link-building strategy
• Assist Account Manager with customer management and communication regarding needs, rankings, and other customer facing search marketing communications  

Search Engine Optimization Specialist Skills Required

• HTML
• CSS
• Strong SEO skills
• Good copywriting and grammar skills
• Knowledge of PPC is a plus
• Knowledge of / capability in PHP, ASP, and/or ASP.NET is a plus
• Knowledge of / capability in SQL Server and/or mySQL is a plus
